Finding a Visting a Family History Center
9/27/2009
• Call Family History Support at 1-800-346-6044, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday-Saturday.

• Visit the FamilySearch Web site

• Contact a local LDS congregation—you'll have the best luck on a Sunday—usually listed in the white pages of local phone books under "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."

What to Bring

• A research log or notebook and/or a laptop computer (if you bring a laptop, take your battery supply in case outlets are not provided)

• Pencils and pens

• Change for copiers and money for ordering microfilm or microfiche

• Post-It Notes (not required, but very useful)

• Floppy disks (optional, usually available for sale at the centers)
