The Family History Library plans to index the microfilmed records in the church's Granite Mountain Records Vault.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Family History Library (FHL) has announced plans to index the microfilmed records in the church's Granite Mountain Records Vault. The secure, climate-controlled bunker, carved from a mountainside in Utah's Little Cottonwood Canyon, stores 2 million rolls of film bearing records of 110 countries. The FHL will post those indexes online at Family Search <www.familysearch.org> and eventually, link them to record images.
