If you believe all the media hype, finding your family tree on the Internet is as easy as logging on and clicking a button. I wish it were so — and perhaps one day it will be. True, there are tens of thousands of genealogy-related transcriptions online, but compared to the data contained in books and microfilm, it's a drop in the bucket.
