When will my first issue arrive?
Your first issue will arrive approximately 4 to 6 weeks after we receive your order.

When can I expect my issues each month?
Family Tree Magazine is published six times a year on a bimonthly basis, with cover dates of January, March, May, July, September and November. Your magazine should arrive by the 27th of the month two months prior to the issue date. For example, your September issue should arrive by July 27th.

When does my subscription expire?
The date your subscription expires appears on your magazine mailing label, above your name. The date indicates the last issue in your subscription.

I'm moving. How do I change my address?
Use the customer care area to notify us of an address change or call subscription customer service at (386) 246-3364.

Why do I get invoices or renewal notices after I've already responded?
We make every effort to prevent this from happening. However, sometimes your response and our letters get crossed in the mail. If you receive a notice from us after you've already responded, simply ignore it. If you receive several notices, it is possible that we did not receive your response, and you should contact us.

How do I give a gift subscription?

Does Family Tree Magazine offer Group Discounts?

Do you put my name on other mailing lists?

Family Tree Magazine is not affiliated with Family Tree Maker. This software, like Ancestry.com, is owned by The Generations Network, which you can contact directly at (800) 262-3787 or by visiting its Web site.

Can we do a link exchange for our Web sites?
We do not participate in Web link exchange programs, but you may advertise your Web site or product in our online Genealogy Marketplace. For details, see Advertising Information.

I'm researching my great-grandmother's side of the family. Can you help me find records on her?
We regret that we can't assist readers or visitors personally with their research. You can, however, post queries on our forum, or submit general research questions for our genealogy gurus to answer in the Now What? column or blog.

You mentioned one of my ancestors in your magazine. Do you have more information on him (or her) that you can send me?
Family Tree Magazine focuses on helping you develop the skills you need to find and use records on your ancestor. Therefore, we don't collect information on specific individuals. To look for articles we've published on how to use certain records types or research in a particular area, use our index to past articles and search our Web site.

How can I submit a research query?
Although we don't publish research queries in the magazine, we do have a Query Center on our forum. You must register with the forum before you can post a query.

May I reprint one of your articles in my society newsletter or on my Web site?
The content in Family Tree Magazine's content is protected under copyright laws. Please contact the editorial department to arrange permissions.

May I photocopy one of your articles for my genealogy class?
You're welcome to make a small number of copies to share with fellow genealogists. Due to copyrights, however, you may not distribute large quantities of copies without prior permission. You can contact us before photocopying articles to arrange permissions.
