If you missed our Facebook Live broadcast, fear not! You can still watch the recording and take a tour of the new website!
Our new website went live on August 17th, and I’ve been loving it! The design is sleek and clean, and much more user friendly. Our black menu bar across the top navigates to our most popular categories, including all of our How Tos and Blogs. Be sure to hover over that link and you’ll see a dropdown menu with several more category options appear.
If you know more specifically what you’re looking for, our new search tool is fantastic! When you type in your request, you’ll see a dropdown appear that shows several article and product options. If you don’t see what you need immediately, just click “all departments” and you’ll be taken to a full list of search results for your topic.
Since launching our new site, the most common questions that come are in regards to login information:
- If you had a store account for our previous Family Tree Magazine Shop, you can login using your existing username and password. If you also had a Premium/Plus membership, or any courses, associated with the email address you used for your store account, that information will automatically be attached to your account in the new website.
- If you did not have a store account, you will simply need to create a new account for our website using the email address that you used previously. If you have Premium/Plus membership, or any courses, associated with the email address you used for your store account, that information will automatically be attached to your account in the new website once you log in.
- If you have any issues logging in, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call toll-free (855) 278-0408.
I hope that you love the new site as much as we do. I believe that this will lead to most readers discovering a great deal of our content that was previously much harder to find. So take some time and explore, and be sure to let us know if you have any questions or feedback!
