Programme de Recherche en Demographie Historique $
This magnifique site for early Quebec research consists of three interlinked parts: a collection of 759,000 vital events drawn mostly from parish records (1621 to 1799), a “repertory of couples and filial relations,” and the Genealogical Dictionary. The dictionary links people to vital records, spouses and parents; for each person, it gives date and place of birth or baptism, of marriage(s) (if applicable), and of death or burial (pre-1780). Searching is free, but you pay for full results, starting at about $26 for 150 hits.
That’s My Family/Voici Ma Famille
New to this one-stop search engine for Canadian genealogy resources is 3 million Quebec marriage records, 1621 to 2004. Maintained by Bibliothque et Archives nationales du Qubec (BAnQ) in partnership with Library and Archives Canada, it scours family history databases hosted by federal, provincial or territorial archives centers and libraries.
